Campaign For A Commercial-Free Childhood is a national coalition of health care professionals, educators, advocacy groups and concerned parents who counter the harmful effects of marketing to children through action, advocacy, education, research, and collaboration. We support the rights of children to grow up -- and the rights of parents to raise them -- without being undermined by rampant commercialism.

I like how you guys continuously attack and try to stop all the Disney Channel and over mass marketing nonsense. However, I really feel you're taking the wrong approach to it. Watching good tv shows and being with a decant amount of ads for toys and breakfast cereals in between isn't the problem. The problem is 90% of the stuff on today is pure tripe that should have never seen the light of day. And the way it is marketed is WAY overrated for what it is! And this has unfortunantly led to some of the most dumbed down, moronic, thoughtless "fangirls"taking over our favorite childhood tv networks, and bumping classic toys off the shelf for icrappy fake audience remotes!

Ability can take you the top, but it takes character to keep you there. Looks like u really know what you're doing and I value the tips shared in your videos. Thank you and keep up the incredible work and leadership my friend.

Although the point of overcommercialization of the modern world is obviously an issue, shouldn't it be up to the parents of these children to say what their kids can or can't watch? Now, sure there are parents that also pressure their sons and daughters, seeing as many women nowadays get plastic surgery and boobjobs, and many dads pressure their sons to be "the genius" or the "star athlete." If parents want to make sure their children do not become "superconsumers", they should explain the difference between the commercial world, and the real world.
