Justice For The Innocents is an organisation originally formed out of the frustration and anger felt by the parents whose children's organs were removed at post mortem. We wanted answers and most of all we wanted this never to happen again anywhere but particularly in Scotland.

We fought hard for a Bill through Scottish Parliament that would protect the bodies of our loved ones. We did not get all we wanted but we think we have added to the future on this subject. We will campaign until we get pure and complete authorisation for all.

We are now an organisation which will campaign on issues of importance in medicine or research in particular where we feel authorisation is required.

On the subject of the use of embryos we feel an embryo cannot give authorisation but needs someone to speak up on their behalf.

The thought of creating hybrid embryos is and should be, a frightening thought for all thinking people, something we should fear because the truth is we do not know where this research is going. We do not know what is planned and we will not know if this bill goes through in its entirety until the deed is done and maybe not then.

The thought of creating human animal hybrids is and should be abhorrent to all people with respect for life.
GRANDPARENTS APART
Grandparents Apart is an organisation formed many years ago by a Ros Peterson and has now split into many different factions but at the centre for all is a want for all children to have the ability to have knowledge of and the ability to have a connection to their maternal and paternal family.

If this new bill goes through unchallenged many children born after the procedure IVF will have no knowledge of their paternal family.
How will that help the children?
