Our mission is to provide public awareness for children reported missing every day in our communities and to educate the public on children safety issues. The continued support via strong community sponsorships and donations will assist us in accomplishing this task and help aid in the recovery of them.

Nearly 800,000 children are reported missing every year yet less than 300 annually have qualified for an Amber Alert since its inception. In fact, 90% of the 311 AMBER Alert recoveries have occurred since the AMBER Alert became a nationally coordinated effort in 2002.

There were 275 issued nationwide in 2005, falling to 262 in 2006 and 227 in 2007.

For an AMBER Alert to be activated it must meet strict criteria recommended by the U.S. Department of Justice.

So what happens to the thousands of children in cases where an AMBER Alert is not issued? Our belief is we can make a difference with our programs both at Child Alert Center and the Child Alert Center Charities.
