That's me and my granddaughter. I'm the one with the lipstick. Retired RN, hippie chick, now gray & arthritic, but still working in a free clinic. No longer beautiful on the outside, but I hoping I still am "still fine" on the inside. Raised two beautiful sons & an undetermined (maybe 4) other boys with my husband and proud of them all. Not a true audiophile. But I like what I like and I know it when I hear it. Took 13 years of classical piano. Play several other instruments, most woodwinds, ukelele , spoons, recorder & a bit of accordian. I love most all music, but am still trying to get my head wrapped around rap & some hip hop music. I'll get there. I finally embraced techo.

Anything to do with my children & their dreams and goals. My grandchildren.(The best reason for having your own kids). Getting out into nature, especially if I can share it with someone I love. Whether you are an evolutionist, dieist, intelligent design,etc., I challenge you to walk out into a newly mown fields of hay, watch a magnificent sunset, overlook a wide valley or a forest in winter. Hold the hand of the person you love and marvel at the miracle of it all. However or whoever, it's being, it's existence is a treasure that takes my breath away as much as any technology that any human could ever dream up.
