i think too hard about things...
heres a taste of how i think
1) war is not a bad thing, but rather the most influencing thing in this life that helps humanity. war has many "downs" as well as many "ups"
the downs:
war brings sorrow, pain, outrage, destruction, and people who think that their country is better than others when soldiers were out fighting and dieing while he was sitting and getting fat
the ups:
war brings death. death is necessary for life. without life there can be no death, and without death there can be no life.
gives some people a sense of acomplishment, belonging, and gives greedy people a new way to look at life (if they are the ones fighting)
2) there is no such thing as good or evil, just many justicies that have contradicting thoughts and goals
3) this "great nation" was built on nothing but the greed of European countries, betrayal of the Native's trust and friendship, and racism. today, i would call this country "good" not "great" racism still flourishes, gangs roam the streets and the "leaders"of this country dont do much but some individuals dedicate their time to help without gov't support. there are still many problems with this country that keep me from considering it "great"
think of these things completely unbiased and then you might come to the same conclusions i have
there are many, many more details i could add but that would take up too much space. some of my thoughts may be contradicting but there is nothing to my knowledge that isnt
