Well judging by the AFC Championship game, the Pats looked like shit. Tom Brady threw about three interceptions, and plus the Pats defense is pretty terrible too. However, the Giants have been inconsistent at times when it comes to their offense. They both got lucky in winning those games. I never thought we would see a rematch between Brady and Eli Manning. Super Bowl XLVI is going to be in Indianapolis's Lucas Oil Stadium, and Tommy Boy won't get much love there.
Have you seen the Penguins in action? We've been starting to win games ever since Kris Letang and James Neal came back in the lineup. We can only hope the Sid and Jordan Staal come back ASAP. I'm just glad we beat Ovechkin on Sunday, can't stand the guy one bit.
Now I have to hope that the Giants win, you can't imagine what it's like here in NJ with all of these Jets and Giants fans around, when their teams lose you don't see them, but when they win watch out!
But I can deal with it this time, I can't take another Patriot Super Bowl victory, the press will never let it go!
Maybe it's for the best, we really looked bad, no excuses given, none taken.
We need to start attacking teams offensively gamewise, not on paper with x's and o's!
We have bad clock management, it showed tonight as well as in the Super Bowl against Green Bay.
We'll be back next year, just have to hope that the Patriots, or the Ravens don't make it.
Thank you. Every time we go into the playoffs, I ALWAYS put a Steelers-type background on my channel. Just wish Ryan Clark to get well soon, he is one of our toughest defensive players out there. What I'm concerned about is Rashard Mendenhall's injury. Hopefully he gets better, and if not, we need to use Mewelde Moore and Issac Redman carefully. Also, Mike Tomlin needs to try to play his cards right when using Ben for a game because in the 49ers game, he wasn't ready, he played terribly. Well, I'm also hoping MY main man, Troy can bring the defense up to beat. In my opinion, he is the heart and soul of that defense. Well, this hype over Tim Tebow is getting me a bit annoyed, so it's time for the Broncos fans to shut up. Let's go Steelers, and make a run for Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis's Lucas Oil Stadium.
In spite of the injuries and the two losses to the Ravens, we had a very good season, one that many teams wish for but we know that we could have done much better than 12-4, we should be 15-1 or at least 14-2.
Congratulations to the Ravens for winning the AFC North, as well as the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals for securing wild card spots.
What a way to represent the AFC North!
Now it's time to separate the men from the boys, AFC North style!
Here we go Pittsburgh!
Thank you. Yesterday was a tough game. Hopefully Rashard Mendenhall comes back for the playoffs, he had a nasty injury. Glad to see Ben, Troy, and Maurkice come back, but if we don't do something, we'll be in trouble. Even though we didn't win the division, we still had somewhat of a good year. I really want the chance to beat Baltimore badly if we do face them, it's going to be tough. Next to Cleveland and Dallas, Baltimore is one of our biggest enemies in football. Well just get ready, and make sure to wear a LOT of black and gold. If we were a Wild Card team who won the Super Bowl 7 years ago, then I'm sure we can do it again. GO STEELERS!!!!
We needed that win against the Rams.
This is the NFL, anything can happen, anyone can defeat anyone, it's just a matter of how the ball bounces, and what the refs call!
Of course we are hoping for a win, and a Cincy upset of the Ravens to get what is rightfully ours, either way we are in the playoffs and we will have to be taken seriously, although a few home games would be great for the Steeler faithful in Pittsburgh.
Maybe a Buffalo upset of New England, Cincy upsetting Baltimore and a Steeler victory over the Browns would be a nice way to start the year off.
Happy New Year (2012) if I don't get the chance to wish you one on Sunday!
You are right. These days, the NFL is becoming a joke when it comes to hits. It's becoming very soft when it comes to us making the hits. Do they not remember the old school way? It's bullshit if you ask me whenever a player makes a hit, the cheap-ass refs throw a yellow flag down on the field. And you know, a lot of people love to get bitchy about the way the Steelers play. Well I've got a message, love it or leave it.
As for Harrison, he's pissed me off lately. During the lockout, he was shooting his mouth off of how Big Ben should be playing like Peyton Manning, and let me tell you, unlike Brady and Manning, Roethlisberger is a tough son of a gun. He's BETTER than Manning too, when it comes to Super Bowl success.
But as soon as anyone gets near Manning, or Brady out come the fines and yellow flags!
What a time to suspend Harrison, before the SF game?
The league has it's favorite teams and players and if you are a Pittsburgh Steeler, you are not one of them!
You can't stop Steeler Nation!
We are stronger than ever, even with our injuries!
So watch out, here we come!
