my first job was as hostess in a restaraunt right outside Lackland ( a few miles from our house) named Sambos (can u belive dat?) i worked there only one wk, on my very first payday my boss said if i wanted my check i'd have to come to his apt to get it....i said OH REALLY NOW. yep, thats the only way i'd get paid. i used the rest. phone to call my dad who was down the road stationed at Kelly AFB bout 15 mins away. i gave him the sitrep. w/in 5 mins up SCREAMS dad in the 'bu, friggin full bore, huge tires churnin the shit outa the gravel parking lot
