We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
The paragraph above now a day just looks like words without meaning, if you don't recognize these words; it is the preamble of the Constitution of The United States of America. Somewhere the Constitution has become lost, along with the people which it stands for. John F Kennedy said it best "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what can you do for your country"
There are over 304 million people in America and growing who allow a very small group of bureaucrats in Washington D.C to make decisions for the American people. This very small group at times makes decisions not in the best interest of the people of America, but in the interest of themselves. The people of America feel like they are without power, but the fact of the matter is the people hold all the power to change America. We the people need to get back to what this country's founding fathers intended it to be, a country for the people by the people. The American people and the people around the world must remember "United we stand divided we fall". So with that being said we as Americans need to put our differences aside and know that we are Americans first.
The pharmaceutical and health products industry has spent more than $800 million in federal lobbying and campaign donations at the federal and state levels in the past seven years, a Center for Public Integrity investigation has found. Its lobbying operation, on which it reports spending more than $675 million, is the biggest in the nation. No other industry has spent more money to sway public policy in that period. It's combined political outlays on lobbying and campaign contributions are topped only by the insurance industry. If this is how the game is played we the American people need to form a group that will represent Americans. The time has come for Americans to start swaying public policy.
