Matt Cardle: Before During and After Winning XFactor UK 2010

Singer songwriter Matt Cardle is a former painter and decorator from Essex, he was a contestant on the X Factor UK 2010 show and the overall winner. In 2005 Matt was a member of the alternative rock / pop band 'Darwyn' and recorded an 11 track album When You Wake and the follow-up EP Little Sunlight in 2006 and latterly played acoustic covers with band mate Ali McMillan in venues around Essex and Suffolk. In 2009 he became the frontman and guitarist of a rock band called Seven Summers. They released a self-titled album Seven Summers on 22 January 2010. Following Matt's XFactor win he had a number one hit single as a solo artist with 'Many Of Horror' and his debut album 'Letters' charted at number two on the UK Album's chart.
