But I think that is why the ban of the revolving door is necessary. The revolving door allow lobbyists inside information when they recruit politicans. Without out it their influence will be hinder. Which is why the Recovery Act Lobbying Rules should be supported.

Neo, gifts aren't the issue. The Supreme Courts Decision on Citizen's United means they can just hand over however much cash they want. Beyond that there is nothing to stop lobbyists from offering jobs after the politician or regulator is out of their office.

Regarding the lobbyist debate at northernvoxmedia's Channel there have been bills written in order to limit influence of lobbyists particularly those written by Obama. Which as a result would ban lobbyist gifts and the revolving door.
