Hi, I'm John Burros and I'm running for state representative because I think our citizens deserve clean government, a clean environment and elected officials who work for the citizens and not well-connected insiders.

The professional politicians who have run Illinois government have lost the trust and respect of the voters. As a union banquet server and a successful private investor, I will fight for you and remain grounded in the everyday struggles of Illinois families.

I have been a longtime activist for renewable energy, open government, and progressive policies. As your state representative, I will make sure these values are implemented in Springfield.
