Regardless of God's existence, I believe the most valuable, if not then honorable, devotion is to the support of fellow man. This is even more so under the truth of Christianity, but otherwise it is still of the utmost, considering life is a weight we all bear, yet there are those who may lift the burden of another to hold it together. All cliche notions of love aside, in its perfect form, love is a harmonizing force in this universe, and without it we are void of our prime intent. Love is not a hippie notion of the 60s, nor is it the new age conception of intensified emotion; love is the epitome of God's work on earth, if not - then it is the greatest mental construct of this species. ************************* Thought is the most unique quality bestowed upon our species, but also the heaviest burden. Literature and writing is where I find solace--because it preserves thought and allows it to prosper.
