Blame the studio for the CGI. They made animatronics for the prequel, which were terrifying. However, the studio wanted more action for the kiddies who fall in love with crappy remakes, so CGI was used.

This is an amazing movie, along with The Rake, but I think a lot of your fans and I would love it if you were to increase the length of the films you make to more than 40-50 minutes. It would increase the amount of time we wait, but I wouldn't mind if we got a 90-120 minute Covet 2.
