I worked in the Ecuadorian Amazon with various NGOs and as a tour guide/leader for about 14 years. Much of my time was spent in Yasuni National Park and Panacocha. I also worked with the Waorani on the Shiripuno, Tiguino and Cononaco Rivers and visited 14 Waorani communities. Lodges where I worked included the Amazon Dolphin Lodge, Shiripuno Lodge, Sacha Lodge, Bataboro Lodge and Sani Lodge.
