Is it true that Burt does not like any of Laura's interpretation of his and Hal David's music? How is that possible?

Saw him in concert year before he died...he would not play this song, I guess

because of the controversy in the gay community...finally, for an encore, his band

just started playing it and after some looks and hesitation, he joined in...It is one

of my cherished memories...this song spoke volume...

I MISS real musicians...

And yes, Entourage brought me here...don't remember this tune, but it is haunting...

You need to hear the "Live at the Bottom Line" version of this tune...the guitar work is sublime...I love the 5th Dimension and they led me to Laura Nyro, but NO one sings

Engpauloh, you know that this tune was written in 1967, for sure? I read that it was

demo recorded in 1974, same time as "Get Me My Cap" and "Someone Loves You..."
