The Piano player actually played for Nell quite often when she would appear on various shows like Tonight Show, Joan Rivers, and Pat Sajak back in the day. He along with Nell's background singers were all over the place back then..People forget what a star she was then..

In an earlier Post someone mentioned Nell's high kick. She actually did it twice at 1:30 and 1:37. Man she was a fabulous all around entertainer!!

I love these stories, Can you please tell me how you did this. I grew up with these and want to download and burn them to dvd so I can share them with my niece and nephew. Would be so cool to share this part of my childhood with them! They don't do cool stuff like this anymore!!

Many of the musicians actually worked for Nell in her career as a singer away from Gimme A Break! I always saw them when ever she would perform on award shows, telethons etc.. It's great to hear Nell sing again. Still have the picture she autographed and sent me when I was 17!! RIP Nell!!
