Q: Why do you not allow comments on your videos?
A: My most popular video is from 2009: Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster Demo. Having over 60,000 views, you can imagine that many different people have seen it. Well, there are, sadly, immature people who ask silly questions, troll, and post about entirely unrelated material. I also do not allow video responses, embedding, rating, etc, because I don't upload my videos for the scrutiny of others.
Q: What are Aei Remasters?
A: Through my many years of recording my own music, I had to teach myself how to produce and master music cheaply. I record everything for free, so it does not make sense to spend money on certain items that make production easier. I find I can make better sounding recordings than most homestudios. So, the first Aei Remasters come from a desire to make today's MP3 and CD formats sound better. My Keith Whitley remasters are modeled after the original vinyl copies.
Q: Why is your music so abstract?
A: I record experimental music for my own pleasure. This began after I could never get a proper band together, so I taught myself how to make my own big sound. If someone, such as a drummer, had been playing with me throughout the years, none of this would have happened. Obviously, if you only listen to a few seconds of my work, you are only enjoying a fraction of my catalog.
