Yes children take comfort in breastfeeding, but that does not mean you have to always give them what they want. Its a parents job to regulate their kids behavior. Even dogs and cats have to force their babies to stop breastfeeding... Sometimes very forcefully too.

My aunt gave birth with NO epidural! She said that it wasn't anywhere near as bad as how they make it look in those stupid TV dramas.

She also says it doesn't really hurt at all when the baby squeezes out because the vagina opens very wide. Its only the contractions that cause most of the pain.
