I spent most of my life as a Christan. From a young age of four I was taught that the Bible is the book you follow, there is no other book but the good book.

At around the age of ten I began questioning my beliefs. I asked the very basic questions first "Why does God need us?" "Where did he come from?" "Who created him?", And so fourth. I am an Atheist and I debate religion with many of my friends and family. My brother who will not be named was the one who first gave me the idea that: "Humans are the ones who created this religion (Christianity), not a God. Humans are weak, simple minded creatures who believe what pages with ink say. I though, have freed my mind."

Heres some thoughts:

I live in a society as an outcast. Not believing in a God has made me that way. I am frowned upon for have DIFFERENT idea, DIFFERENT mindsets. I live in the epicenter of the Bible Belt. The worst place for an Atheist such as myself. When will I be set free from this place? When will the hateful words of Christians come to a halt? I walk the streets in worry, I keep an eye behind my back. I keep my opinions to myself unless questioned. I do not bash religion or the people who believe in one. And yet.. I am the evil one? I am the one that is destroying the world by believing something different? I am spit upon as an ATHEIST but a MUSLIM can walk the streets and be accepted? Why? Why do people who believe in another religion get the safety, the comfort when an Atheist is shunned?!.. The world is crazy. I will not live to see the day we are free from the shackles of religion. Alas, I can pave the way.

And God never infested another Human soul ever again.
