When I left home in !997, I collected my gear from my bedroom and my dad who never hugs, or shows emotion sat me on the bed and we played a few of my old collection ( including this song) and we shared a tear

The last time I saw Roddy, was at a gig at Bradford, where I ended up on stage, so i put my arm around the great man saluted to the crowd on dived!, at which point the crowd parted and I landed on my back!!!!!

For the record Coldplay supported Embrace at early concerts and they remained mates and Chris Martins wife thought it would suit Danny so it was passed on,

Anyway I was there at Embrace's first gig at the Allan Fold Halifax.

I had a chance to see DM on this tour at Bradford UK, and I passed it up.

I have this tape somewhere.

They played Halifax twice.

The leisure centre when I helped load their van, and they played a small dive called the zoo bar!.

Eadie was a class player.

His positional skill under a high ball we second to none.

On the last tackle when the kick was booted, he was always there.

He read the game so well.

I was at this game and was fantastic.

It was the final game before the 1st test, hence the almost full strength Aussie side.

After the game Laurie Daley said it was one of the hardest games he had played in England .

It included 3 local lads, Smith, Perrett, and Jonny Lawless.
