Hmmm i'm not sure how you're doing the dance, but i think that's normal. Especially for the Madonna dance where the moves require a lot of shaking and whatnot. When i was learning that dance, my sides started to hurt for a while also. Just rest for a while and continue dancing. It should be okay. Good luck! ^^
