@60srocker46 - Hans Poulsen appeared on an episode of Burkes Backyard many years ago. Sadly he had a stroke and was in a wheelchair unable to sing the way he used to. I'm not sure if he is alive or not (not being negative).

The music sounds too much like ABBA. Are Benny & Bjorn involved in this production?

For the era, her performance was absolutely spectacular and for the age of the original broadcast, the quality is superb.

@FLACSC74 I agree with your comments entirely. As an observation, the old Soviet regime certainly allowed some fantastic pieces of music to be used by their performing sports i.e. gymnastics and figure skating.

@wahaya2 I agree with your comments entirely and I had such a good laugh whilst watching this video. I truly admire the comedy that we once had on Australian TV.

I would like to see these episodes replayed on the HD channels as Australia needs a damn good laugh. These reality TV shows are absolute garbage. My Kitchen Rules tops my list of TV pet hates.

A huge vote of thanks must go to the script writers for such wonderful comedy.

@spankulp I do agree with your comments entirely. The Soviet ladies certainly showed the world just how good they really were. The music played was classical but lovely and definately not dull. The ballet moves are so nice and at the end I can almost imagine her wearing a tutu and pointe shoes.

@ralucagymnast I agree with your comments 100% - also too, the quality of the Japanese broadcast is so high and the video uploaded is so clear when you take into consideration that it was filmed 31 years ago..........
