Many thanks to Bruno Monsaingeon and his devotion to the legacy of Glenn Gould. To be able to see and hear Gould playing Bach is a truly mystical experience.

I don't see an old man here; I see GG at his peak. Yes, he had a bad back (as the result of a childhood injury). And yes, he tended to hunch over the piano. But these videos are priceless. BTW, he wasn't gay.

We agree. Gould always did things his own way, not just piano. Too bad he died at 50. He would have been a terrific conductor.

Jazzy, romantic & baroque at the same time. GG was truly one of a kind. The world would be a different place without his unique interpretations. He was so much more than a pianist.
