Breathe California holds a number of events throughout the year to help raise money for lung health research as well as increase public awareness of lung health disease. The Clean Air Awards recognizes those who are taking action to reduce global warming and air pollution. Members of the community are encouraged to create teams and fundraise for the Bike for Breath and Breath of Life Walk. Each year for the Bay to Breakers, Breathe pulls together teams of volunteers to help out, as well as holds a Pledge Runner program for those who wish to participate in the 12K marathon. Breathe CA would be nothing without the large number of supporters in the community who come out helping spread awareness and fun times.
