Open to residents of the US, UK and Canada, each contestant will have an opportunity to compete for a prize package that includes an internship with Academy Award® Winner David Parfitt (Shakespeare in Love)on the UK set of his latest production.
The Breakout Filmmaker Competition challenges aspiring directors to create and submit a compelling short film (max 10 min) in one of several genres and will involve the weekly selection of 3 finalists by the online audience. To learn more visit ShortFilm.ProjectBreakout.com
The competition officially launches with Week 1 on December 3, 2007, but we're offering contestants the opportunity to submit their entries early. Sorry but no animation films will be accepted.
