About this user
I am just your normal 6'8", white guy. Well sorta. I used to be fairly fast for a skinny guy. Then back in May of 2010 I was taken by a condition called Vasa-Vagal Syncope. This condition allows me to run at super human speeds. Just kidding it really sucks and I can't do sh*t. The veins in my legs do not close properly when I stand or exercise, therefore sending too much blood to my lower body and not enough to my brain. I have literally been bed ridden because of this health problem. My heart also beats too fast. Heart arrhythmias and palpitations are other issues that are slowing me down in life.
So why the f*ck am I training for the two world's fastest sprint records, held by a tall, muscular black guy? I am attempting to break the records, because my condition is something most people can recover from. Sometimes it just hits you in your mid twenties and is just a speed bump in life. It's now going into January 2011 though and I am still having trouble with dizzyness if I miss a dosage of any of my two meds, Clonazepam and Metoprolol. Both Lower Blood Pressure so they can make me dizzy in themselves.
I am setting the biggest, physical challenge possible for myself, to get over my condition. I am tired of sitting on YouTube and Poker Stars all day. I am tired of not being able to leave my apartment, and having to bum rides to Walmart, and then ride around embarrassed in the electric buggy, shopping cart. (Just messing, I love those things!)
Every time I re-watch clips of Usain Bolt, I see nothing but weaknesses in his form and slow start, out of the blocks. I can't say much now, being a skinny a** white guy who can't get much farther than his refrigerator, but I will train to beat him. Not compete, BEAT.
