I'd love to see the drummer throw in some gravity blasts in verses, or blast with crossed arms. It's always offputting to see a drummer blast with his right hand on the snare.

Gotta say, I prefer their VDOP and Far Beyond Driven eras, this still has elements of the glam rock band they were, and I prefer the crushing vocals of VDOP to this album. Still a great album though.

@Bullet7x11392 Your username parodies 2 shit bands. Your argument is invalid. Also, listen to Cryptopsy's first 2 albums (with Lord Worm on vocals) then re-state your point.

@Denleavy 1) That was pretty clear. 2) The other 2 bands didn't use stage props and they were awesome.

3) I've given up on Avenged, they copy everyone.

@BrooklynGibson16 I'm not fucked in the head, I just hate Brokencyde and bands that sound like them (e.g. dot dot curve), or other grommy scene bands. If you want decent lyrics, try Cryptopsy. Just to show you, here's a part from "Crown of Horns":

I actually jumped more at the first soft one (the guy going "ooh") than I did at all the others put together. No joke.

Meh. This is alright but I've heard better. Much better. My main problem is the vocals and not that I think they're too shouty/scary/screamy/whatever. I just think it's a shit sound, it's like Glen Benton and Tom Araya fused and tried to copy Poly Styrene's vocal style.

@57HERETIC57 Yep, thisa album was more deathcore influenced, but if you check out their new album (listen to Legion of the Serpent or Sons of Belial) they're technical death metal.

The fans yelling and screaming kinda ruined it for me, great performance though, really emotional.

@Bio69 Try switching the hands round so your right hand (or left if you're left-handed) is on the hi-hat. That way you have more strength and stamina to put into the hi-hat strikes, and if the snare still sounds consistent and awesome, you know you've got it right.

I hate people who confuse these guys with deathcore. I didn't hear a single generic breakdown.

@Dinocastoro I didn't say "Do Nothing/Bitchslap", I said "Do Nothing" and "Bitchslap", I even specified that they were 2 separate songs. They re-recorded the songs separately for Crowz, but the songs never made it onto the unreleased album.

Is this a song you wrote or a cover?

This would be good if it wasn't full of breakdowns and overlapped high-with-low vocals.
