MPI seeks college students and recent college graduates to execute community development programs abroad. Members serve for thirteen months, volunteers work for any amount of time from a long weekend to multiple months.

MPI directs its efforts towards communities in need: communities with inadequate access to basic education, healthcare, and recreational resources. MPI aims for a holistic approach to community development, working with people of all ages in various aspects of their lives. This broad approach enables those with diverse passions and skills to work together towards providing a targeted community with the resources to serve its specific needs.
