Bravo Squad Paintball was started in the Fall of 2009 when cousins Chris Omar and John Read came up with the idea of creating a paintball team wanting to get serious about the sport. We then got more friends to join in. The team truly started to get going in July of 2010 when we purchased our own markers. We would then play in our backyards most of the time, and sometimes local fields like New Breed and ABC. We attended our first scenario, the West Point Combat Classic in October 2010, and this is where it really started. We then wanted to take a shot of competition by playing in our first tournament in the Killhouse at Hornets Nest Paintball, even though we placed last of 12 teams, we held up pretty well against very experienced teams like the 518 Ninja Squad, War Hounds, and the professional collegiate team, the West Point Black Knights. We learned so much, and plan on going back next year. In the 2011 season, we are finally getting off the ground, joining forces with the War Hounds, practicing, and having a broad schedule of events ahead. Our main goal is to be a successful and winning team, but we can't be successful without having fun. Everyone on the team is equal on the field, and they all have something they can do that will change the outcome of the game in a positive way. Everyone on the team are good friends that hang out all the time, like when it comes to going to the movies, watching tournaments, bowling, playing Xbox, and much more.
