It has been brought to my attention that some people think my name is pronounced "Bee-Rap". It is not. It rhymes with crap and trap, having only the one syllable. :)

What is a brap, anyway? Well, it is a comic book sound. Some call it a 'vulgar sound', even. A raspberry made with the lips? That qualifies. :) Lots of things qualify, but that is not how I got the nickname.

I got it when I was 19 or so, in a band. It is derived from a band called Skinny Puppy and means "to gather together, hook-up electronic instruments, get high and record". It is another word for 'jam' and I was given it after buying a drum machine and keyboard and near instantly being able to use them with skill. I actually rejected the name (low self-esteem can be a bitch) for many years, but now I have proved it even to myself, and how. Here:

I guess I need some channel rules so there will be no whining when I enact them, right?

THE RULES:

_ Be respectful of the beliefs of others. This does not mean you cannot argue, just don't beat the horse to death or I will block you. Fanatical behavior is VERY unwelcome in my world.

_ Remember that conversations go in more than one direction. If you are here to preach, just piss off. Do that on your own channel.

_ Realize that I deal with a physical condition so aggravating that petty behavior cannot possible ever be a welcome addition to my life. In fact, you will be regarded as a child and treated thus. If you want else, grow up.

_ Feel free to ask me anything your little heart desires. Also, STFU when I say I will not answer. :) I don't *owe* you answers. I swear, this is the GimmeGimme Generation. Many of you seem to think you are entitled to whatever your fat mouth can express a desire for. You are not. Get a grip. Be respectful.

I am a conscious creator. I am not religious and I am unconvertable. I don't say this as a challenge, I say it as a fact. Anybody trying to tell me what my beliefs should be will be blocked tout suite. A huge part of my life is self-reflection and I don't need your unsolicited help to do so. No, I won't argue this in little boxes on YouTube, either; that's not why I am here.

I am here to share. I was kicked-out of adsense just before the first payout ($100), for no reason, and have no chance at YT partnership, I am pretty sure. That is never going to be the reason I am here. I don't ask you to subscribe, rate, comment...you know what there is to do here and it feels like pandering when people do it to me, so...hypocrisy averted! (Hypocrisy is the truest evil in this world, to me. REMEMBER THAT.)

Most of what is presented to you here (FOR FREE) on this channel came at great personal cost and effort on my part. If you have a complaint, it is likely unwarranted and possibly even dickish, by default. :) Now you know my perspective on it beforehand. :D

All in all, I am a really easy going guy...until disrespected. Respect is a transaction, not a gift. Forget this and FEEL THE BANHAMMER. Ahem. I have been on the internet since 1982 or so. Trolls and flames are nothing new to me. I have emails older than most of the YouTube users. :D
