MY NAME IS is Brandalyn Gill and I am an 19 year old author of "Life", a collection of contemporary fiction short stories and poems, which was published on December 12 of 2010. When I was 9 years old, i developed the gift of writing and promised myself that I would be published by 18, which I did, and now I am sharing my story with adults and youth as a motivational speaker to encourage others to start on their dreams young. I started my book at 10 and finished at 16.

I graduated at 15 years old and started college that same year. Growing up, I always had issues with finding my place in the world, because I was knowlegeable for my age and didn't fit in with most of my peers but I was too young for the adult world. Through many unfortunate events, I finally figured out what my purpose is: to share my story with those young and old to encourage them to overcome adversity and achieve.

The book is now the focal point of the "This Is My Life" Youth Development Program, a creative reading, writing, and achieving program endorsed by the Houston Independent School District. My book is now available for $14.95 on my company website: www.illuminationliterary.com/shop.html, Barnes AndNoble.com, Amazon.com, and all other online retailers; as well as on Kindle, Nook, I Tunes, CD Baby, and Smashwords as E book and Audio Book.
