The Brain Injury Association of Michigan is a non-profit organization that brings together people with brain injury, their families, friends, and concerned professionals to improve the quality of life that people experience after brain injury.

More than 28 years ago, a group of concerned families, living with brain injury founded the Association to ensure that needed services and supports were available for people with brain injuries and their families.

Incorporated in 1981, the Association was one of the first state associations chartered by the Brain Injury Association of America.
