I still tinker with Lego, and I greatly enjoy selectively collecting Transformers because of how much better the engineering is.
I like history, and I try to keep myself educated on past and current events. I enjoy watching The O'Reilly Factor during the week and Geraldo At Large on the weekends. I like to keep an open mind and follow up on the stories of the day. Whether I agree with the hosts or not is irrelevant to why I watch. I watch because they bring things to my attention that I can then learn about on my own and form my own opinions based on fact. That concept is one O'Reilly preaches (best word I can think of right now), and I believe the idea to be true.
I used to love to watch the Daily Show and Colbert Report, but I either never noticed how slanted they were or they changed during the year that I did not have access to them. They went so far off during the last campaign that I found myself looking for someone else to watch, and there was The Factor. I was fresh off some recent history classes, one about how to study history, and I found the show challenging to me. I highly recommend adding The Factor to anyone's nightly viewing schedule, and offsetting it with something more left leaning for comparison. That is one way to form solid, fact based opinions.
I say this because I believe in the importance of education throughout life. Class does not end with a diploma or a degree because life is a class, a lesson of its own. And when we stop educating ourselves, where does that leave us?
But enough about history and politics. That's not what my channel is about. And while I enjoy discussion with intelligent people holding differing viewpoints from my own (a good friend of mine fills this role regularly), I have no intention of doing so here. If the time comes for me to finally upload video, the video will be neutral, as in my models or perhaps how I augment some of my Transformers with older weapons, both things I wish to share when I am able.
