For those of you under 60 who didn't experience the music and cultural explosion....oh, what a time it was. I know every generation has its own stuff....but the late 60s/early 70s are going to be a hard act to follow.

Never new Frampton. First time I heard this song was an Oprah commercial from an unashamed bald guy with love in his voice....sorry I missed him.

I missed this concert but I was at 10 cent "Beer Night" in June 1974...same stadium...but a much worse riot.

I lived it. Went to the 5&dime and bought a beatles wig for a dollar until i could grow my own hair. Incredible, yet innocent time.

Growing up my friends made fun of my for loving this group. They're mostly divorced now. My wife and I celebrated our 40th this year.

How I envy anyone who had that kind of relationship with their father.

Heard the name Peter Frampton a 100 times but never listened to him until he sang this on Oprah as a middle-aged, balding man.......sorry I missed this fine entertainer over the years.

1974 was the best year of my life...young, handsome, strong, happy, loved rock&roll but INCREDIBLY I never listen to or even knew John Denver existed until I moved to Colo Spgs in 1979....have been a huge fan ever since. Broke my heart when he died.

Does anyone seriously think that our grandchildren will be dredging up "Hip Hop" 50 years from now like we are listening to the Beatles now?
