My name is Khalil Reed, born as a native of Gainesville Florida, so used to being in a crowd of people I always was a fan of music, Hip Hop/Rap in particular. I remember the first time I first started doing anything that involved music at the age of 7, my rap name was Special K (like the cereal) and i just used to just say anything that came to mind (freestyling). As i grew up I wasnt never interested in being a rapper because my parents where always the ones that forced education and higher achievement and rapping was seem as immoral values in there book. I kept my interest but just stop completely fooling around with rapping. But at age 9 I met this guy named Chaulton Thomas and we grew to become best friends and he also took a interest in rapping also. In the 5th grade me and Chaulton used to always beat on the table freestyling in class during class while reading was going on and we got in trouble a few times but aye we were kids. In middle school me and Chaulton took on the crew name of the WHITE BOYZ and we were not white but just like to call ourselves that. Every rhyme we put together we start it off with "I'm a white boy and I love to rap" then continued with what we were going to say this continued in the lunchroom. When I met Rapheal Webb in middle school we became real good friends he was always the one that produced in the lunchroom with the beats. I remember in 8th grade we was in science and I kicked a freestyle to one of his beats and I started off with "the game need change s call me Obama , I'm about to start blowing up like Osama" thats was when i really discovered my lyrical potential. I was almost smart and had a big vocabulary I just never thought to use it while freestyling. High School i didn't really partake in rapping until the summer of 9th grade transitioning into the 10th when Raplheall Webb came to my house one day. That day we was playing xbox and just chillen until Ralph said bro u got some beats. I so happened to have over 100 instrumentals in a file and we continued on that day into freestyling and Ralph told me bro your freestyling is "Fie". As the 10th grade year came into existence I kept just freestyling at school in front of crowds, when we had nothing to do, on my way to football games, etc. Through the year i kept a close relationship with Rapping . Over the summer going into 11th grade is when i really came into the game. I was bored one day and just decided I'm about to record myself freestyling over a beat. I posted the video that night and started to receive likes and comments from fellow Facebook friends telling me I did a good job. I made another video which turned out to be a catalyst for my career it received more than 100 plus likes and over 75 comments telling me that this is hot, I should become a rapper but my motto was always "I'm not a Rapper" getting this from Deshawn Raw video called the Rap Battle (Parody). I receive buzz from Facebook as well as Soulja Boy Tellem and even got a spotlight on Youtube. This interest I received made me start taking this Rap thing more seriously because I possess a talent of creating powerful lyrics. Now i stand 16 years old with a microphone, a dream, my faith in God, Close friends, Family, and the Passion for delivering strong lyrics to the public. That's my life.
