Unfortunately, much of the fitness equipment available over the internet is counterfeit or otherwise unauthorized, including,, in particular, some of the Bowflex branded products. Foreign manufacturers copy authentic goods including the trademarks, manuals, packaging, and DVDs and attempt to pass them off as genuine. Some of the counterfeit goods are poor quality and can pose safety risks. Even goods that appear high quality may use inferior materials that are covered or painted over to hide their poor quality. Nautilus is working with law enforcement agencies to combat the distribution of counterfeit goods, but the volume of goods and distributors means eradication is unlikely. The only safe way for consumers to be sure they are buying authentic goods is to buy directly from Nautilus (or Bowflex) or at reputable retailers.
Nautilus warrants only genuine goods sold by authorized sellers and our warranty extends only to the original purchaser. Our warranty assures consumers that a fitness machine from Nautilus is free from defects in materials and workmanship or will be corrected if a defect occurs. Our warranty covers only the original purchaser and is not transferable to any other person. To receive warranty service, a purchaser must show proof of purchase from an authorized dealer (unless the product was purchased directly from Nautilus).
