Bolesta Center, Inc., a non-profit Listening and Spoken Language Center founded in 1961, is dedicated to teaching deaf and hard of hearing children to learn to listen and speak. Research shows that with early detection of hearing loss, the use of advanced technology such as high-powered hearing aids or cochlear implants, and on-going auditory verbal therapy such as Bolesta provides, deaf children will obtain the same language comprehension and voice quality as their hearing peers and can be mainstreamed into our hearing schools, workforce, and communities.
