I'm so glad the word is getting out there about bioidentical hormones! Although I would like to stress, in regards to this current video lecture, that Estradiol is the most abundant and active hormone in young women. It is necessary for maintaining brain function, bone function and healthy arteries among myriad other roles. Estriol on the other hand, is found at high levels only in pregnant women, helps predominantly with vaginal lubrication, and one must take large amounts of Estriol (also possibly unsafe) to obtain the same amount of relief as a much smaller amount of Estradiol. Estradiol blood levels should be at least above 90. I strongly urge all women interested in bioidenticals to read books by Dr. Elizabeth Vliet. Titles are:
