About this user

I'm trying to live a humble life. I draw and I paint, and I sometimes upload videos of me playing the guitar that sound better to me than my usual incompetence, but will undoubtedly sound terrible in the realm of youtube expertise. The reason I upload these videos is twofold; first, I feel they exorcise the insecurity I have about my skill level by casting them in the (potential) public eye, and secondly they remind me of my rank in a world of great guitarists and prompt me to the long road ahead if I ever wish to play with feeling. I also comment on other youtube videos sometimes, but if my thoughts sound harsh keep in mind that they are only transcribed into comments owing to the great value I hold for immediate reactions. The meaning held in a response, unhindered by a calming, and vastly dullifying attention to civility is worth so much. It is through these reactions that we reach a greater understanding of our consciousness, reconciling our feelings with our intellect instead of crushing the instinctive truth within, "progressing" into a state of pure artificiality. This is a goal I feel we are all heavily invested in; whether it is conscious or not, individual or beyond.
