bob, do you remember being a substitute french teacher at goose creek high school in 1981 for about three weeks. i was one of your students and am proud to say i didn't learn a lick of french. you were the best . a good time was had by all and thanks especially for letting my childhood crush carla pankoski get up and do a cheerleading routine in front of the class. kudos for bringing your sax to class and also doing a show in the band room with carl litchfield. did the faculty have ANY idea what was going on in there? i love your music now and your work on the miles davis catalogue is boss (esp. 'ON THE CORNER"). yours, darryl delaplata.

Bob, you had mentioned having a video of I've got it Bad and That Ain't good, dave lalama's arrangement and solo. He's my old teacher and mentor and I have played that many times with him and have some of the CD's he performs it on with Woody's band. Could you please put that up for us. It would be a thrill for Dave and I to see it. I've attached a recent video of Dave and I playing one of this original compositions. I am in the back playing 2nd trumpet. Thanks again
