Bo Big Band is a Prague based big band that focuses solely on original music.

When the idea of forming a big band came up, nobody was really aware of how many aspiring and already established composers there is among young jazz players, who have the ability and desire to score big band music, but simply can not find the right band. A band opened to new ideas, a band that does not fear new approaches and challenges that contemporary jazz music may bring.
Instead of endless search for such band, those jazz players sat together and formed a big band of their own. That's when the Bo Big Band was born, a unique project bringing new original music to light.
