"Natural Makeup" Haul

Hi there! So I am changing up my beauty/skin products, due to an attempt to rebalance my hormonal levels. It's neither that fun or exciting -- but I do think it's necessary.

I doubt I will ever be anywhere close to non-toxic, but I am making a concerted effort to limit my exposure to certain (scientifically-proven) known toxins (specifically those that are endocrine disruptors or documented as developmental or reproductive toxins).

"It Starts with the Egg" by Rebecca Fett. This book is SO well researched. It is possibly a gamechanger for infertile women like me.

Skin Deep (a section of the EWG found at http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/). Their rigorous methodology follows the highest standards of the scientific method. No theories -- just science, studies and best practices by other countries.

I follow the "NEVER LIST", as outlined by BeautyCounter - a direct-sales business similar to Avon (more high end) selling household and beauty products. They are a counterpoint to other luxury direct-sales options eschewing the 'natural/nontoxin' trend.
