my name is Daniel Vargas, im a blues guitar player, 17 years old and currently live in south florida, US

I was born in Caracas, Venezuela. I've "been playing guitar" since I was 13. Time is most irrelevant at the end, but how much one puts into it, i believe.

I've recorded videos for the past year or so, and until now Im posting them. The Blues is the most fullfiling music theres ever been, for me of course. From every note to every word and every lick in absolutely any blues record there is endless pleasure and beauty. There is nothing even close to be compared to the effect Blues has on every one, but stronger on some people than others. I hope and pray to live my live playing and producing music, making a life out of it. But more importantly, play the blues in order to reach out for those who havent felt its magestic touch, and find more people with the same dream along the way.

Nevertheless, i love absolutely all kinds of music. I adore all kinds of jazz, from bebop to cool jazz to fusion. Im able to appreciate some music (classic rock, alternative and fusion rock, reggea, funk, etc) more than others (good and meaningful rap, techno, R&B). But at the end, music is what bonds people together. Music talks and reach to those who feel identified and feel the same touch as of who and what it calls for.
Music should not be used (as it is sadly being used) for manipulating the crowd into how they should feel, dress, drive, buy, act, dance; and much less, live. Through an ilussion created by the media, people have been sucked into listening music which embraces drugs and alcohol abuse, demoralization of women, use violence as first resource, buy one's way through life; with the ideal that money, fast cars, attractive women, guns, and expensive cloth will somewhat open a highway to a successfull, happy and meaningful life. This aspect of industrialized music is the most disgusting and despicable fact of society. It is this way that the most mesmerizing and fantastic social movements have been deteriorized (hip-hop, R&B, electronic music, rap, etc); therefore, shapping (along other media sources) entirely the way society lives their lifes .Just an insight of my view of music.
