About Bluejacket01
Welcome to my channel. I started this site as a place to show old films of my family and friends. I had almost forgotten about the railroad movie films I had taken earlier in my career, nearly 25 years ago. After the incredible encouragement I have received from train fans, I decided to keep this site as mainly trains-oriented. I have another channel for family films (which my family hardly looks at; go figure!!).
My goal is to transfer all of my super 8 movies to digital and upload them to this site. After that, I plan on filming some of the transit systems I occasionally tour, with the video camera my wife gave me for last Christmas. I keep learning more about the digital video process. This week I learned that Windows Movie Maker WILL join clips together. I also figured out how to get my clips shown in High Definition, so I plan on going back and improving all my previous uploads.
