It's just inconceivable to think that the "Reverend" Wright said all of these offensive things in the pulpit, but never said anything inappropriate when Obama was in the church. Kudos to O'Reilly for holding his feet to the fire here.

@PungiFungi Hannity is the perfect definition of a pseudo-intellectual. He is an empty suit, a fraud, and an embarrassment to the conservative movement.

Hitchens is very nice and respectful to Sharpton here. There are numerous times when Sharpton says something nonsensical or sophomoric, and Hitchens passes on the chance to really shame him. Hitchens has not been so deferential to other people that he has debated.

@AJPDILLON I don't believe Sharpton to be an authentic Christian. His actions in life, such as the Tawana Brawley case, etc., lead me to believe that he is a charlatan and a fraud, who, like Jesse Jackson, pretends to be religious for political reasons.

Man, Sharpton is totally out of his league here. He is no match for Hitchens.

Gingrich is not my preferred candidate, and I don't trust him, but if he is the only viable alternative to Obama, I will have to vote for him. Obama is easily the worst president since Carter. He is doing great damage to this country's long-term viability both economically and in foreign policy.
