@idk502023 Even putting aside the way Umineko is practically begging every reader to come up with their own interpretation, Ep. 8, at the very least, made it pretty clear that "intellectuals" like Erika would only ever see life "without love". Notice how in the Trick ending, Ange starts babbling ...

If they had actually kept it looking like "Box Art Megaman" (you know, a strange, monkey-like creature that looks like it was based on 40's America propaganda) it would have been hilarious in a tongue-in-cheek sort of way. Making him fat just seems like Capcom is blowing off steam from MvC3, haha.

You know, I think the first Episode remains my favorite to this day. It's opening was bogged down with set up and exposition, but once it got going it was properly haunting, knowing nothing of the meta world, and just watching it all unravel until it's down to four people in a room with one gun. ...

Glad to see that they're taking the worries expressed about gems seriously, but the issue is still the same for me- gems, like Pandora, seem like unwanted mechanics being thrown into a game that already had enough to it to get people interested. Poison is the only gimmick the game needs, imo.

@880User088 It's hard to take the NC seriously at all, is the problem. Doug seems like a great guy to get a beer and talk Dune with, don't get me wrong, but he's been complacent to follow a formula far too often in his reviews, especially in regards to his humor.

@Voidhead Actually, I really appreciate how Stoklasa knew to let the Plinkett reviews be for a while and move onto something else. Even with how long they take to produce, to keep pumping out more Plinkett reviews "back-to-back" would only burn him out, I imagine, as well as have their charm wear...
