Blizzard is a young, talented rockband from the east of the Netherlands. The band was formed in the summer of 2001 and rapidly made name in the Dutch rock circuit. The rocktrios sound could best be described as modern, heavy and solid. Emotions and heavy rock music are being combined till catchy songs come up that are easy to listen to. Thies booming guitarriffs, Timos groovy basslines and Niels energetic drums create a powerfull sound.

The 2004 demosingle Still Questioning gained a lot of media attention. The regional and national radio stations as well as the written press showed a lot of interest in the upcoming rockband. This leading to many gigs and performances. Two years after this demosingle, the time was there to record a whole new album. Thinking Twice was released March 2006. It contains eight potential tracks and is (as well as the demo single) produced by Dick Kemper (Vandenberg). The album ensured Blizzard of national media attention as they went to radio and tv stations to promote their album (radio channel 3FM, tv-channel TMF, KINK FM).

These ambitious three gentlemen did also perform on large Dutch festivals as Zwarte Cross, Vierdaagse- feesten Nijmegen, Huntenpop, Paaspop and also played as supporting act for well-known Dutch artists as Kane, Stereo, Intwine and the Belgian act Zornik. By putting a performance together that is powerfull and yet refreshing, Blizzard is live also very convincing.
