I'd just finished typing a brief but carefully researched whatnot about the stretch of water between England and France, touching on, amongst other things, Hurd's Deep and the breaching of the Weald-Artois anticline, and was duly about to bung it in here, when it occurred to me that they may have meant something else by "Channel Description".
