Never ending wars, unnecessary massive starvation, unsolvable national debts , devastating oil spill disasters & nuclear power plant meltdowns... Our planet is beyond the shadow of a doubt run by psychopaths. Capitalists, socialists, priests... no matter what label they use, they all represent the same basic corrupt culture that moulds us into exploiting our fellow human being and plundering our habitat. A species at war with itself and its bio-system... What do you reckon the odds for a prosperous future are?

The good news is that our powerlessness is a myth! The assembled patterns of human behaviour are the way they are solely because of our collective (conscious and unconscious) beliefs as to what's real and what's possible. All it takes to change these patterns, is having a critical mass of the population realize this. As long as we resignedly turn our heads away when faced by unpleasant phenomena, as long as we comply and retire into our individual cocoons, the reigning world order of monetary servitude remains intact.

But if we choose to ignore the megaphones of the system guardians, and let our integrity take precedence to the cultural dictations, the hypnosis of the prevailing world view loses its grip. And we realize that we don't actually have to change what THEY are doing; all we need change is what WE are doing. The position of power currently enjoyed by politicians vanishes when WE stop voting for them. The vampire bite of Big Business in the paling vains of the planet & its inhabitants will come off once WE deny them our consumption. The age-long insanity of warfare will end when WE finally refuse to participate.

Ecologically sustainable production of energy (for which the technology already exists: http://www.youtube.com/watc...) will be enabled when we decide to replace the imploding economic model of today (http://www.vimeo.com/6822294) with a resource based economy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XDhSgCsD_x8), providing the structural opportunity for prosperity for one & all.

Money & politics are human conventions. Are we really so incredibly stupid we won't take action to change a failing arrangement?
