REAL Hip Hop. Anything blessed by DJ Premier, Pete Rock or 9th Wonder..but nuthin fucks with that Premo boom bap. I'm stuck in the early 2 mid 90's cuz what I hear today is a joke outside cats like REKS, Termanology, Torae & skyzoo. I get dow w/ the God MC, Rakim Allah, Jadakiss, Jeru the Damaja, Skillz, AZ (the most slept on lyricist in the game) KRS-1, Little Brother, Jurassic 5, Gangstarr, - RIP KIETH ELAM - Big L RIP, Royce 5'9, Termonology, Wu-Tang, Talib Kweli, The Roots, insightful lyrics instead of the same played out Radio shit that gives hip hop a bad name. I also like drum & bass, ambient & breaks. Jazz, Funk, Soul, I love it all!!! Music is the soundtrack of life.
Books:
The 5 people you meet in heaven comes to mind being that it was the last FULL book I read. I am currrently reading "The Shack" by William P. Young seems good so far, and is very well regarded as a book of spiritual enrichment.
